|Title||Headmaster of Hope's Peak Academy|
|Appearances||Trigger Happy Havoc|
|Relationships||Kyoko Kirigiri (Daughter)|
Jin wears a black suit with a white shirt and a purple tie. He has dark, purple hair.
He also shows quite a caring side in Trigger Happy Havoc, since he rescued the students from the despair that was going on in the outside world by trapping them in the school.
Jin Kirigiri was not interested in becoming a detective, unlike the rest of the members in his family. Instead, he became a headmaster.
Jin Kirigiri was, technically, the first to be murdered by the mastermind. His death, Blast Off!, was seen in the first movie clip in the game. Jin was tied up in a rocket, he is then locked in the rocket and the rocket launched into space. The rocket crashes down and all that can be seen afterwards is a skeleton.
Unaware of this at the time, the students pinned their hopes on Alter Ego, who had said that the mastermind could possibly be the headmaster of Hope's Peak Academy. Alter Ego insists that the headmaster is a man in his thirties and is in the building. Little did they know, the mastermind's remains lay in a wrapped box with Kyoko's name on it in a secret room in his office, located on the 2nd floor of the dormitories.
When the surviving students are able to explore anywhere in the building, Kyoko investigates the 2nd floor dormitories. On the same floor, the headmaster's room was the last room on the corridor. Makoto joined Kyoko in the room, discovering a hidden room. The password to get into the room, with Kyoko being rather shocked, was her name. In the secret room, she discovers an old photo of her and Jin as well as the wrapped box on a table. She opened the box to find her father's remains, ruling out that the mastermind is the headmaster.
Throughout the game, it is suggested that Kyoko and Jin did not have the closest of relationships. Kyoko did not seem to be all that fussed in finding her father's remains and often referred to him in a cold way.
