[edit] Appearance

Mukuro shares resemblance to her twin sister, but there are differences. She has bobbed, black hair. When in her Junko disguise, she has put foundation over her Fenrir tattoo on her right hand.

[edit] Personality

Mukuro is a caring, gentle person despite being the "Ultimate Soldier". Taking advantage of this, Junko, Mukuro's younger twin sister, acts as Mukuro's puppeteer. Mukuro has a tendency of taking orders from Junko, even becoming the other half to "Ultimate Despair" to please her younger twin. She is willing to do almost anything for Junko's acceptance.

[edit] Background

[edit] Disguising

On the first day of the game, the students were lead to believe that the Junko that they had met was the real Junko. However, what they did not know is that Mukuro had agreed to merge into the class of 16 under the disguise of her younger twin sister.

[edit] Fenrir

Mukuro's Fenrir Tattoo

The Fenrir emblem is of a wolf and is tattooed onto its soldiers, where it can be seen. Mukuro, as suggested in her title, was an incredible solider, working for Fenrir. Mukuro has her Fenrir tattoo on her right hand.

Despite this, she is the first to admit that she lacks communication skills and tactical planning.

[edit] Pre-Despair

During the start of Danganronpa:Trigger Happy Havoc, when she is disguised as Junko, Makoto mentions that she looks very different to what she looks like in the magazines. She very quickly declares that all the photos in the magazines have been "photoshopped" Mukuro's school is unknown, however when she was 17, she got a finrir mercenary group tattoo on her hand

Mukuro, along with Junko, was homeless after living a terrible childhood. During the first talk with Mukuro, Makoto learns this. She mentions that she quite liked living the "hobo life".

[edit] Death

Mukuro's Death

Quite soon into the game, Ikusaba was perforated by the "Spears of Gungnir" in the Gymnasium after attacking Monokuma. Obviously expecting for her sister to not kill her, she expressed pain and angst on her face, saying her last words in disbelief. This incident tricked the other students into thinking that it was Junko who died.

Mukuro's fake death

Later on in the game, Enoshima reused Mukuro's body in order for a Class Trial for the murder of Mukuro Ikusaba to start. She was declared as the unknown 16th student in Hope's Peak Academy. When the survivors tried to take a closer look at Mukuro's body, it detonated a Monokuma bomb. All that was visible of her body was a few fake red nails as well as her Fenrir tattoo on her right hand.

A wealth of evidence lead the survivors to believe that the Junko that they had met on the first day was none other than Mukuro Ikusaba.

[edit] Mukuro's File

The 2nd half of Mukuro's file

During the 5th Class Trial, Kyoko Kirigiri stole Mukuro's file from the Headmaster's Office. However, she had only took one page of the file, not the second. Byakuya Togami picked up the other half to the file, it read:

"Regarding Mukuro Ikusaba's sudden return to Japan..."
"It seems a certain presence is largely responsible for that."
"A presence known as... the Ultimate Despair."
"At this point in time, it is unclear if that refers to an individual or to an organization."
"But, there is no question Mukuro Ikusaba is deeply involved with that presence."
"I have a bad feeling about this... I must immediately proceed with my investigation of the Ultimate Despair."
"I must also pay attention to Mukuro Ikusaba's movements."
"My gut tells me this girl is dangerous..."
"As a member of Fenrir, she passed through many battlefields..."
"But, nevertheless, the medical examination we conducted when she entered the school revealed not even a single wound on her body."
"That fact just makes it even clearer how impressive her military abilities are."
"She's my student and I want to trust her, of course, but..."
"If, by any chance, she starts posing a risk to the other students..."
"We have to be prepared to handle that situation, if it arises."

This suggested that Mukuro was very close to the mastermind, which turned out to be her younger twin sister, Junko Enoshima.

[edit] Junko Enoshima

Mukuro is the older twin sister of Junko. Mukuro would do almost anything to be loved by her twin sister, even going as far to becoming a part of the Ultimate Despair. She would do anything to please her and thought of herself as inferior to Junko.
